A Happy Blessed Ramadhan to All

( This blogpost is written right after the first night of Tarawikh at UTP Mosque)

I would like to bid to all Moslem a happy blessed Ramadhan al-Mubarak. And I would like to personally wish to everyone I love ' A Happy Welcoming Ramadhan al-Kareem.' May this year’s month of fasting proves to be the holiest and sincerest and most meaningful of all, InsyaAllah.

It was all messy and dramatic one (like usual) for the whole past two weeks. Too many things came in and went by, and yet it drives me like crazy and messy. It was just a hectic and busy life for Billynain(it's me).

I'm lie actually. Indeed it is an intended lie. There's nothing to worry about for the whole past two weeks as it was only the beginning of a new semester. Yet, no assignment, no tutorial, no project and no hassle at all! Sorry for telling the lie. Actually i'm trying to make some jokes here for which i'm pretty sure nobody will laugh at it. Oh, the pathetic me....(poor me!)

Alright, enough babbling about that, back to the main point. There's always one favorite hadith during Ramadhan which i do like.

[ أول شهر رمضان رحمة، وأوسطه مغفرة، وآخره عتق من النار ]

Which means: " Ramadhan is a month full of blessings. In the early, there is rahmah, in the midst of it is Maghfirah and at the end of it is the freedom form the Fire."

Mind you, this hadith is categorized as dhoif or a weak hadith. There are quite some opinions regarding this hadith from Islamic scholars, but i will just take it as my favorite quote...

Among the benefits of Ramadan are:

(1). The smell of the mouth of the fasting person, is fragrant with Allah, better than the perfume of musk.

(2). The angels are always praying for forgiveness for the fasting person to break his fast.

(3). The gates of heaven are opened, and the gates of hell are shut of.

(4). There is Laylat al Qadr, which is a night better than thousand months.

(5). There is forgiveness for those who fast

(6). Bound / bind the devil

AHLAN Ya Ramadhan!
